Following record rainfall in April, June has also been the wettest since records began in 1910. Great weather for slugs who continue to feast on my crops although the lettuce has remained untouched; I can only assume they are stuffed after eating most of the brassicas. However, the garden is now providing a steady supply of delicious vegetables for the table.
